Distance Learning Institute Students’ Association (DLISA) is a body for the entire student populace of Distance Learning Institute. The name Distance Learning Institute Students' Association (DLISA), came into existence after the faculty’s name was changed from Correspondence and Open Studies Institute (COSIT) to Distance Learning Institute (DLI) in the year 1997.
The association is led by executive officers who are duly and freely elected to serve in different capacities, fully recognized and given authority by the University of Lagos.
DLISA acts as liaison with the faculty administration and the students in relation to student affairs in the university.
DLISA is involved in a number of student activities on and off campus as the association aims to embrace the peculiarity of Open Distance Education which Distance Learning Institute, University of Lagos offers.
All Distance Learning Institute, University of Lagos students become members of the association upon payment of the student union fee.
